Meeting that special someone, getting engaged and all ready for the “horse and carriage” is definitely one of the most memorably exciting moments in one’s life. After the initial few weeks of adrenaline rush, fun, bliss and blush, especially the post proposal, i.e. “l do” stage, you will agree with me that it’s time to settle down and get straight ahead to the preparations and plans for the big day!

How are 3 simple steps to a great wedding preparation:

Keep things SIMPLE
There will always be another nicer & cheaper florist your Aunt Susie knows, another better  photographer Mr. Tan wants to consider, another centerpiece or theme idea, another wedding cake design, it’s just seems endless. To keep things simple, when you find something that Clicks with you, just go with it!

Buy a wedding folder & start delegating
Get a nifty folder and planner diary style notebook exclusively for the occasion. Put all your contacts, information, brochures in this designated “pouch” of yours, .so it wouldn’t get mixed up with your other daily work items. Yu should try to start engaging your family and friends in the plan and find out who can assist & contribute in specific areas, in short, don’t be hesitant to ask for help!

Get Started & have fun!
Establish a progressive checklist and take it a step at a time. Don’t try to do everything at once and alone! If you’re stressed out in between, hit the spa and calm down with a massage or get pampered with a manicure,

Above all, do remember the essence of what a wedding day is really all about, i.e. an affirmation and celebration of love, hence, just stay focused, keep yourself organized, and believe me, all will fall in good place in due time.
